The Scout Association recently announced a set of initiatives to modernise and revitalise Scouting:
- Programme Refresh – ‘back to basics’ – more outdoors and adventure
- A Million Hands – using the million hands in the Scout Association to make a real difference to a set of community issues
- YouShape – giving young people in Scouting the opportunity to have their say and shape their programme of activities
1st Hillsborough Scout Group is, of course, actively taking part in these initiatives.
